The Great Expedition!

Ever since I was young I always yearned to travel. Finally next year I will be able to go on a big trip! In May 2011 I will be heading over to Europe to go on a backpacking adventure with my boyfriend Kyle and our friend Dallas. I'm working my bum off to have enough money to survive out there... it's difficult because the Canadian dollar has terrible exchange rates with the Euro.

I am going to be doing research on each country I want to head over to!

This right here is camels in Eqypt! Yes, I am aware that this isn't in Europe - but it sure is close! I am going to see the pyramids and trek through the desert on a camel named Humphrey. Pyramids are amazing, imagine having to build one of those? Nuts I tell ya.

I am only going to be in Egypt for 2 days, and thats all I really need.

If anyone else has any knowledge or cool ideas of other things to visit in Egypt let me know! I'd love to hear more great places.





 

My first words!

Ello errrbody!

3 cheers for my first blog post!

I guess I will just begin with a little bit about myself.

The name's Jessica but I normally just go by Jess :)

& I R 19 years old from good ol' Manitoba, Canada.

Here is what is new in the life of Jess:

a) I smashed my chin and split it open earlier this morning... I should have gotten stitches but I am scared shitless of anything needle-y so I put those butterfly bandages on it to keep it shut. Apparantly it works like a charm - accordingly to the medical knowledge of my mum.

b) I just recently scored a job working for Toyota! It is pretty stellar, I work in the service dept. so I pretty much deal with previous buyers and such. It's really great. I have been working there for just about a month so far and I am really enjoying it :)

At this moment in time I don't have much to sayyyyyyyyyy ...

I don't really have a purpose for this blog to be honest with you, haha.

So be prepared for it's epic randomatic posts!

PS! I also thought i'd mention that I have a deviant art profile. I really love capturing images with my Nikon and I always post them there when I get the chance!
